  • Do you make a difference through your work?
  • Do you want to make your workplace, or your profession, better?
  • Are you passionate about social justice, equality and fairness?
  • Do you want to challenge the status-quo and inspire change?

You went into your career because you care, hoping to make a difference. But somewhere along the way, you've lost your mojo. You feel exhausted, resentful, burnt-out. Your conscience feels challenged.

Moral burnout is the personal cost of working in a harmful system.

Those who dedicate their professional lives to making a difference are passionate, values-led people.

I can help you get back to standing up for what's right and be a catalyst for positive change.

Are you struggling with burnout, moral distress or moral injury?

About Anna Green

I setup Moral Rebels after a long NHS career that was equally rewarding and frustrating.

Having experienced moral burnout myself, I set out to understand the challenges faced by people driven to make a difference, and what can be done to help them.

Empowering people who want to make a difference through their work.

I specialise in preventing or overcoming moral burnout.

By understanding what enables values-driven people to flourish in the workplace, I can help you to thrive and navigate obstacles such as compassion fatigue, emotional exhaustion, resistance, backlash & ostracism.

But the problem does not lie with you alone.

Allowing people to suffer from the impact of working within harmful systems is a dereliction of leadership duty.

I also support leaders to develop their inclusive leadership practice and develop psychologically safe cultures where moral rebels can thrive for good.

15%

It's estimated that 15% of people are ‘moral rebels’ – people who refuse to comply with situations that compromise their values.

Moral rebels experience a personal cost from standing up for what they believe is right.

Being values-led is easier said than done.

Moral rebels, driven by their values, are a force for good.

You highlight unfairness, injustice, moral dilemmas and ethical issues.

You face occupational hazards in the workplace and depending on the prevailing culture, you'll either burn bright, or burnout.

They face resistance, backlash and ostracism to stand up for what is right, risking burnout, compassion fatigue and moral injury.

With the right support, you can rebuild your motivation & to withstand these challenges.

When protected and empowered by morally courageous, inclusive leaders, moral rebels make a lasting, positive difference through their work.
